Ess85 beats operate in the space between hiphop, techno and dubstep. A one-time resident of Detroit, London and Berlin, all three cities have shaped Ess85's sound. Dirty mid-tempo rhythms, deep basslines, and synthetic bleeps, fuse into an electronic groove constantly reinventing itself. Both progressive and retro, the 'neon EP' is designed to provide a soundtrack to late-night journeys through urban spaces.
